How to Get Rid of Burnout: Week 6

This entire week and weekend was extremely hard up until the end. I realized I’ve been feeling a combination of burnout and lack of attachment/interest to what I’m doing because I do not want to work after college. Shocker.

This is a big realization for me because I used to be so eager to work after college. I kept wavering back and forth because I didn’t want to admit to myself that I wasn’t going to work afterwards. It’s finally decided: I’M TAKING A GAP YEAR!

Each class: I will work in the Kravis building or CS building at Mudd.

Leadership — I have to submit my leadership readings. I will do that tomorrow. I plan to participate in the class at least 3 times.

Lit— I will do the readings for that tomorrow.

CS—I need to finish my homework tomorrow and I am meeting with the professor in the afternoon about quiz content.

Clinic—Sorry, I have to pass this week.

HCD—I will be helping my team refine user POVs and finally figure out a direction for ideating.
