Getting All A’s in My Last Semester of College (+ Habit Tracking)

It’s my last semester of college; to prove to myself that the past few semesters of getting all A’s weren’t a fluke, I want to finish my semester on a high note: all A’s. I’m taking 4 classes this final semester (the normal amount): C, SCM, HP, and CS. Because it’s a normal load, I feel a lot better about what I have to do.

While I am confident in my ability to get all A’s in my four classes, I am doubtful of whether I can do it while successfully balancing friends and my social life. My goal for this semester is to maximize the amount of days I can be happy while still trying to get all A’s. This means I will have to use more help than I do normally, by having good relationships with my professors and working together with classmates to learn with them.

The reality I didn’t show before in my series is that getting all A’s meant a sacrifice of not spending as much time with my friends, a sacrifice I was ok with because I wasn’t fully happy with my friendships at that time.

Last semester, I got a B+ in C so I now need to get an A this semester, which is 2 letter grades up. This will be hard. I will have to fully attend all meetings to meet an A- minimum but getting an A means I have to make sure to do all the work and go a bit above beyond. That is hard when I feel like the work is a bit stupid. However, I have to remind myself that this is for the greater good of students’ education, which is important to me. I am doing good with my work. I am making societal impacts. I will also try to show improvement by letting more people talk and then holding my tongue in the first half of the semester. Then, I will participate more which will make it seem like I’m improving.

For SCM, this will be a hard class like A. I will have to work hard at it and put in the time. I will probably do some tomorrow morning again from 10–12 during my work shift.

For HP, there is a lot of initial work which I will all have to get done before Hawaii. I will take diligent notes and review vids on 2x speed the day before class. My quote is by RP.

For CS, this class will be hard. I think I will also need to put in the hours like SCM. This is a weird CS class because it actually requires reading ugh. Like all CS classes, I will do the problems and if I don’t understand any problems, I will go to the teacher. I will also make sure all the lecture material makes sense to me! We can ask him questions today if we show up earlier in class.
